Toga Pulla & PORTER STAND

Brand: Toga Pulla x PORTER STAND

Season: SS19

Key Pieces: The black Bonsac bag is the most understated item from the “Trunk Show” capsule. It nevertheless stands out thanks to its versatility. The bag can be handheld or used as either a shoulder bag or backpack. The sleek, monochromatic backpack is reminiscent of PORTER's All-Black “Reflective Line” with Saturdays NYC. Distinctly Toga Pulla details like the silver-tone metal clasps give the bag an Americana twist.

Release Date: March 30 to April 22

Buy: SHINAGAWA SOUTH SHINAGAWA-ST, 3-26-27, Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo.

Editor’s Notes: After selling out its initial drop last week, Toga Pulla and PORTER will re-release their “Trunk Show” capsule, comprising three bag variations; a mesh bag, a bum bag-inspired belt bag, and Porter’s sling-like Bonsac option.

The mesh bag comes in red, khaki and black colorways, at ¥29,000 (approx $260 USD) each. The relatively new addition to Porter’s line of bags features an external mesh section in bright yellow for the red bag, and sky blue for the khaki option. It features a sling-like construction and comes together with a nylon drawstring. The utilitarian design is finished off with silver-tone metal detailing over the strap.

The belt bag, rendered in red, khaki and black showcases Toga Pulla's Americana vibes with studs, clasps and silver-tone metal detailing and comes in at a very reasonable ¥33,000 (approx. $297). The black Bonsac bag comes in black and khaki colorways, costing ¥37,000 (approx. 334).
