After delivering a full-length trailer in February, Netflix has finally announced the release date for its new animated Transformers series. The first part in the trilogy, Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege, will hit the streaming platform on July 30.

Netflix originally announced the series at the New York Toy Fair a couple years back. Siege will kick off the trilogy with six 22-minute episodes, picking up as the Decepticons and Autobots are in an ongoing civil war. Led by their respective leaders, Megatron and Optimus Prime, each side seeks unity, but on their own terms. With hopes of ending the dispute once and for all, the Decepticons' Megatron will look to obtain the Allspark, which is the source of life and power on Cybertron.

Siege will be followed by part two of the Transformers trilogy, titled Earthrise, while part three has yet to be named. You can watch a new trailer for Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege below.
