How Many Fake Twitter Followers Do Your Favorites Rappers Have?

Earlier this month Facebook revealed that out of its 955 million accounts, over 83 million of them are fake. This of course raises the question about other social networks. Twitter hasn’t revealed any specifics, but a new web service by Status People called Fake Follower Check aims to answer that question on a case by case basis, showing the percentage of fake followers a user has.

Complex tested it out using rappers. The likes of Diddy, Waka Flocka and Soulja Boy each look to have over 65% fake followers while Nas, Pusha T and Azealia Banks all managed to keep their fakes in the single digits. Kanye West? 36% fake. We’re not sure how accurate this all is, but interesting nonetheless.

Head to Complex to see the full findings.
