Whilst collections created to accompany film releases could result is something painful, Brook Brothers lead the way with ‘The Gatsby‘, a smart collection with or without the movie endorsement. In fact, it was Brook Brothers themselves, in conjunction with Oscar winning costume designer Catherine Martin, who created the wardrobe for the Baz Luhrmann extravaganza. Over 500 men’s outfits have inspired the 1920’s collection which includes some beautiful Made in England shoes from Peal & Co. and a selection of nicely cut linen suits, Brooks Brothers avoid creating something too costume-y so no fear of looking like an effected nostalgia-head (well, the boaters and Regatta gear might tip things in that direction). Find it all online and see the lookbook in our gallery.
