The New Versus Versace Collection by J.W. Anderson

Relaunched in 2009 after having been founded as one of many diffusion lines in 1989 and closed in 2005, with the hiring of UK designer Christopher Kane, Versace presents the next chapter in the Versus history, working since this year with J.W. Anderson. The relaunch was much anticipated and today we can finally give you a look at the new collection lookbook.

Staying true to the heritage of the Italian luxury label, Versus uses bold patterns and prints in its new collection, while giving them a more modern and youthful appeal. Slim silhouettes make up the men’s and women’s collections, which are dominated by strong color options and tonal outfits.

One has to see if Versace can capture that younger audience with Versus and stay relevant in the fashion market, which seemed like a struggle in the last decade. What do you think about the new line?
