Situated in Lozica, near Dubrovnik on Croatia’s rocky coastline, House V2 by 3LHD is built according to a multi-level design to accommodate the steep topography on which it sits. The entrance is on the top level with a parking area next to the street, while four bedrooms and bathrooms, living and dining areas, kitchen, service space, and TV lounge with projector are split over two levels cascading down towards the sea. The living and dining areas feature full glass doors that open out to partially-covered terraces, maximizing the use of indoor and outdoor space. Staggered level terraces connected by stairs lead down and provide access to the sea. For the exterior, white stone plates cover the facade and are complemented by paved stone or teak planks on the terraces, providing a light-reflective space for the seaside abode.
