Hood By Air Fall/Winter 2014 stayed within the brand’s strong avant-garde street element while elevating their garment’s technicality in design and material. Taking their signature multi-zipper hardware to fitted pants, styles looked richer with several layers befitting the colder seasons. Upgraded materials like leather showed up as structured oversized outerwear as well as accessories like shoes and bags. Interesting styling choices for men with knee-high platform boots and bell-bottom pants created a dramatic mood for the show which also had some more sellable staples like HBA’s familiar sport jerseys.
Earlier, we presented the “FUCCBOI” fashion film, giving you a first sense of the new Hood By Air Fall/Winter 2014 collection by designer Shayne Oliver. Another up-and-coming brand that perfectly manages the hybrid between streetwear and high-end fashion, they just presented their latest line as part of New York Fashion Week.
