After teasing the arrival of the Magista last week, Nike officially unveiled the innovative football boot today in Barcelona. As many anticipated, the boot comes equipped with the sportswear giant's Flyknit technology along the upper with a specially designed collar and new features through the outsole. Arriving in a volt colorway, the boot follows up adidas's entry into the knitted football boot game, both sensibly created in anticipation of the 2014 World Cup.

The boot was designed to offer a sock-like fit throughout while allowing for increased awareness of the body’s movements and interaction with the ground and the ball. In addition, Nike added 360° rotational traction through conical studs and a Pebax®-and-nylon plate to improve traction.

The Magista will be available for pre-order at Nike.com on April 29 and to purchase from May 22.
