Less than two months after unleashing their new Mac n’ Cheetos, Burger King returns with yet another experimental food item, the “Whopperito.” The Whopperito, as you can probably guess by the name, is a cross between a burger and a burrito.

BK unveiled the Whopperito at multiple locations in Pennsylvania back in June but will begin rolling out the unique burger burrito nationwide next week. As with many experimental items, however, the Whopperito isn’t expected to remain on the menu permanently.

“It’s certainly one of the first times that we’ve tapped into the Tex-Mex category,” Alex Macedo, North American president at Burger King, revealed to Bloomberg. “It’s one of the fastest-growing categories — consumers like the freshness of it, they like the mix of flavors.”

The traditional mayonnaise from Burger King’s burgers has in turn been replaced with queso sauce on the Whopperito. It then additionally features ground beef, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles.

Again, expect the hybrid food item to appear on menus nationwide beginning August 15.
