Where the runway meets the street

Supreme’s own CashCannon Money Gun was undoubtedly the streetwear giant’s drop of the week. After being teased in the brand’s SS17 accessories lookbook earlier this year, the toy gun finally got its hotly-anticipated release yesterday. Needless to say, it sold out in seconds.

Supreme has released a bevy of weird and wonderful accessories over the past few seasons, from Metro Cards to bricks, nunchucks to bible stash boxes, and even air horns. So, it was only a matter of time before the Supreme overlords went above and beyond to release their most absurd offering to date.

The CashCannon Money Gun is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a gun-shaped toy that you can load with fake (or real) paper cash, point in the air and dramatically pull a trigger, before enjoying a moment of epic self-realization as “six hunnit fiddy dollars” rains all around you.

Supreme dropped its own Oliver Payne-lensed video on Instagram yesterday showing the CashCannon in action, and you can watch it below.

However, the streetwear heads who were lucky enough to cop the toy gun have been making it rain with their very own videos. Let us know what you think about Supreme’s latest release in the comments below.

I’ll admit it, shooting money (albeit monopoly money) into the street would also be my favorite pastime.

More bands. Who copped? 💸💸💸 📹:@papa_dales

Actually, loading up your CashCannon and shooting money out of an automotive sunroof while in a moving vehicle looks like it could be a very therapeutic experience.

Yesterday was an international national holiday known as 420 and one lucky guy seems to have copped a very special edition and not at all made up “KushCannon” to commemorate marijuana culture’s high holiday.

Shooting bills looks even more euphoric in slo-mo.

Franky B, the man behind Sneakerness Paris (one of Europe’s leading sneaker conventions) tests his Supreme CashCanon out.

While this isn’t the most creative of videos, it’s a solid demonstration of the CashCannon’s core function.

This isn’t the Supreme CashCannon in action, it’s the original version sans the ‘preme branding, but this visual banquet of excellence is too good not to include.
