Hublot continues to make strong moves in the sports segment. Not only concentrating on the football and basketball, as well as F1 areas, they have now collaborated with the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt and together they present the King Power Usain Bolt. In addition to the watch’s many references to the sprinter, it features an interesting hallmark: the strap is made from exactly the same leather as the shoes he wore when he broke the world records in Beijing in 2008.

Limited to 250 individually numbered pieces, the black ceramic watch will release soon.

Announced earlier this year, we can today give you a first good look at the first ever Stone Island Sunglasses Collection. All the sunglasses are made in Italy and mounted with sun lenses by Carl Zeiss Vision. The collection is based on forms that have become icons of fashion in eyewear, interpreted with modern designs and created with a high level of quality, presenting advanced technical solutions and craftsmanship, similar to the garments that we are used to see from the innovative Italian brand.

In this first collection you will find overall 6 different silhouettes, each coming in numerous colors. A launch is scheduled for July 9th, 2012, but you can already pre-order them in the official UK Stone Island online store.

Babe Ruth is still setting records posthumously with the recent sale of his New York Yankees jersey. The game worn jersey went for a whopping $4,415,658 which set a new record for sports memorabilia beating out James Naismith’s founding rules of basketball. The uniform top is a circa 1920 piece and is said to be the earliest known jersey worn by The Great Bambino. Sports and Americana memorabilia specialists Lelands.com made the winning bid and rather than re-auctioning it, they plan to sell it to one of their private clients. It will be interesting to see how much of a profit they could make for the item.

visvim has introduces the Newell-Folk Boots this week. Featuring a premium UK suede cowhide upper, cork footbed, Vibram outersole and other features that we are used to see from the Japanese brand, the mid cut boot is a bot of a desert boot reinterpreted by visvim. Plain ol’ white gym socks no longer cut it these days. With brands like Happy Socks, Chup and others offering great designs, socks have certainly emerged as something to consider when shopping. Japanese label Undercover have released this tote bag that features the ever-so popular cuss word. The phrase including the F-word is printed on distressed cotton that makes up for the bag’s body, whereas inside there are contrasting orange nylon pockets, also premium leather handles finish it. The bag also comes in an appealing khaki green option too. These are available now from Zozo.

Influenced by Scientology, The Master is Paul Thomas Anderson’s first film since 2007’s There Will Be Blood. The movie stars Philip Seymour Hoffman as an L. Ron Hubbard-ish figure “who returns after witnessing the horrors of WWII and tries to rediscover who he is in post-war America. He creates a belief system, something that catches on with other lost souls,” with help from his right-hand man Freddie, played by Joaquin Phoenix. The cast also includes Amy Adams, Jesse Plemons, and Laura Dern. In theaters October 12.

Air Jordan fans were really delighted when the AJKO was released as a retro a couple of years back, and now there’s more reason for fans to rejoice as a couple more colors will be releasing this summer as a quickstrike. One OG color in the red/black will be dropping along with a black toe version. The canvas Air Jordans are set to release at the very beginning of June, so be on the lookout!
