The removable pin already exist on every APC jeans, so, months collaboration work for writing “fuck em!” on the back pocket is what I call lazyness, lack of imagination, lack of originality,…
and what about the t-shirt…. I can do 20 like this a day.
The word “collaboration” is making me smile more and more often when I see a man (the boss) wearing like a teenager but saying seriously in front of the camera that they worked a lot to change the colors or doing brainstorming with 15 people for which “premium” materiels they will use for of a pair of New Balance or Nike shoes is hilarous, and the most funny is that the most of the time they’re not good…

  2. nicolasfromparissoexcusemyenglish:

and sorry but the shape looks like exactly the same as APC’s new standard one

  3. I reluctantly have to agree with you Nicolas. I so wanted this to be extraordinary.

  4. …and I’m not that thrilled about walking around with \Fuck Em!\ on my ass.

  5. taylor:

    boring

  6. Rikki:

    ZzzZZZzzzZZZzzZZZzzzZZZzz

  7. I am actually not disappointed about the denim. If they would have done much more, people would not have liked it either. But the t-shirt? I dont really understand that. I was expecting a nice proper capsule collection with shirts, maybe a jacket, some accessories as well. I think the two products are solid, but not impressive. After all A.P.C. is a very subtle brand, so it was clear from the start that the outcome would go in that direction.

  8. Pungkross:

But why, oh why, did they have to go with “Fuck Em”?! I couldn’t wear those jeans anywhere (especially not at work) without feeling like an attention whore (with a desire to be f***ed in the a**?).

  9. What’s the graphic on the tees?? I cant see the details. I’m on my DSi.

But it looks boring to me though. ehhhh.

  10. Agreed, a simple SUPREME would have been better than the Fuck Em.

  11. nicolasfromparissoexcusemyenglish:

Of course we weren’t waiting as much details as on Fenom jeans, fortunately maybe but come on… very subtle don’t mean empty! they could include some small details that are not visible outside for example or something like this. Also, I don’t think that APC denim is very subtle, it’s just rough denim with minimal design.

  12. [...] This collaboration has been talked about for quite some time now, and now we finally get an inside look at the Fall 2009 collection from A.P.C. and Supreme. Their collaboration includes denim jeans and a graphic tee. The jeans feature A.P.C.’s trademark removable pin along with back pocket embroidery. The graphic tee comes in red and black colorways, with the black being exclusive to A.P.C. retailers and the red to Supreme. The collection will hit retailers on October 1st. 13. MR VOODOO:

LET ME GO ON RECORD BY SAYING THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE MOST “PAUSE WORTHY” CLOTHING ITEM I HAVE EVER SEEN! JUST ASK YOURSELF, WHAT HETEROSEXUAL MAN REALLY WANTS TO WEAR A PAIR OF JEANS THAT READS “FUCK EM’” ON THE REAR END???

    EPIC FAIL.

  14. nicolasfromparissoexcusemyenglish:

I start to believe that this collab’ is a joke.

  15. Why do men always take things so literally?? If you were secure with your sexuality, you wouldn’t care if your jeans said fuck em. It’s fashion & it’s about making a bold statement. Like it says, “FUCK EM” so fck what people think.

  16. [...] Info HS [...]

  17. ^I agree nicole….but supreme has been letting me down lately anyhow this is no surprise….

  19. I totally agree with Nicole. Fashion is all about expression. However, the hype killed many things along with people fashion sense. If you aren’t from NY, LA or Japan you shouldn’t be wearing SUPREME… support your local shops. Also how wild did YOU want the tee shirt to be? Mild is the way to go far as designs go for street wear, because all the colorful bull-ish messed up the game.

So, in order to move forward some times you have to pull back a tad. You ever hear the saying \less is more.\ Well, that quote is alive and well in this case.

Even though I don’t wear Supreme I can see where they went on this with A.P.C. keep it clean as always.

  20. nicolasfromparissoexcusemyenglish:

It’s not only the hype who killed people fashion sense, it’s also the lack of imagination, creativity, good taste (too subjective maybe)…of the designers. I live i Paris and everytime I see a kind of fashionista, they looks like clone! they all have the same (fake) attitude, it’s so boring…for the streetwear example: now everyone is wearing flannel shirt, have glasses even if they don’t need :) got beanies on their heads, vans or sebago shoes below their jeans with hem! oh, I forgot the backpack and bicycle :-)
Otherwise, it’s Zadig& Voltaire style or Dior style!

  21. nicolasfromparissoexcusemyenglish:

and the most funny is that they feel like “a part of the team”

  22. central squared:

The ‘fuck ‘em’ thing seems sooooo cheap. What is this, Hot Topic?
