As regular readers will already know, Nike SB produced a limited run of woodgrain Janoskis for the monumental Gardener 10th Exhibition. What you may not know is that they also dropped an even more limited run with a lighter colored, more wavy woodgrain upper. Unfortunately for most of us, these were only given to a select group of friends and family and will never be for sale at retail.

We get a first detailed look at the Gardener 10th exhibition that we have been reporting about heavily these last weeks. Taking place at De La Barracuda in Los Angeles, the exhibition will showcase many old and many new figures by the Hong Kong based artist Michael Lau. Collaborators include Terry Richardson, The Hundreds and many others. The artist has been referencing streetculture and action sports culture for many years already, along with other inspirations such as music. The amount of figures, collaborations and special product being released for the occasion is definitely amazing, so we can only advise you to pass by should you be in the area.

We get a first look at two Nike SB inspired Gardener figures by artist Michael Lau – Gardener 107 Sandy and Gardener 107.5 George. Make sure to also have a look again at his Nike SB collaboration sneakers that will be released next month. The figures will be on display at Baracuta in LA.

Here’s one of the hottest and new limited edition sets by toy pioneer Michael Lau for Gardener Tenth. The exclusive set includes an all black version of his Submilgaytona watch and his new character, M.L.M.D.

But that’s not all, with the purchase of the M.L.M.D. (Sample) & Submilgaytona set, fans and collectors will receive a (Not For Sale) ultra limited purple and gold inspired “champions” LA Fat figure in celebration of his 10th anniversary, definitely making this one of Michael Lau’s rarest collectibles.

Each set is hand numbered and signed by Michael Lau and limited to only 109 pieces worldwide, in celebration of his 109 Gardeners. The M.L.M.D.“Submilgaytona”watch and (N.F.S) LA Fat figure will be available at De La Barracuda with limited sets being released each day of the exhibition. Each watch is numbered and signed. The box set and rare LA Fat figure will be priced at USD $495.00.

In celebration of the Gardener 10th anniversary, and his first USA exhibition; not only is Michael Lau releasing a series of exclusive woodgrain figures, but he is also releasing a pair of Nike SB Stefan Janoski sneakers! In celebration of his 10th anniversary of Gardeners and his first USA exhibition; MINDstyle and Michael Lau have just announced a first look at the woodgrain exclusive figures being released at De La Barracuda in Los Angeles. One figure will be released each night in collaboration with Slamxhype and The Hundreds. The wood grain edition is limited to 100 pieces worldwide and will retail for USD $125.
