The next collaborator of Altamont for Holiday 2009 is 10.Deep founder and creative director Scott Sasso. The outcome is a small capsule collection, consisting of a hoodie, shirt, t-shirts, cap and a scarf. The collection fuses the Altamont style with details that we learned to appreciate in the 10.Deep collection.

Taking cues from the namesake Altamont tragedy of 1969, Scott invokes the event and the era through motifs like a raceway checkerboard pattern, a bloody arm, psychedelic imagery and a reference to the infamous event security, or lack thereof. All these elements are incorporated with Scott’s signature 10.Deep attention to detailing and unique patterns to create a completely modern brand mash-up.

Be prepared for a good mixture of Cali Love and southern hospitality as 10.Deep brings Fool’s Gold Record’s newest signee Donnis to the Golden State. This West Coast swing starts Oct 16th in LA with 10.Deep and Donnis flooding Fairfax’s fitted emporium Hall of Fame with music and beer. The performance will be followed by a swanky after-party at the Sofitel’s Stone Rose.

Oct 17th the event moves to the trolley tracked city of San Fran for a show and celebration at Milk Bar. All events will feature an all-star line-up of DJs and gift bags will be given out, also featuring the new 10.Deep x Donnis tee, that you see here above. The t-shirt will also be released on October 16th in the 10.Deep online store.

The first offering from 10.Deep’s new Division Selects Program – a limited selection of goods available exclusively online and at a small group of  retailers - is the Odds and Evens Button Down. Combining different fabrics from the 10.Deep Fall 2009 season, this exclusive garment was produced in a short run of 50 pieces. Available Oct 20th at 10Deep.com and Oct 23rd at select retailers.

The second delivery of 10.Deep’s Fall collection sees a continuation of the themes from their Delivery 1 “Proud to be a Problem” campaign. “The Outsiders” collection mixes outdoor and sportswear apparel with a heritage inspired range of garments. Pieces such as the Southwest Ridge flannel, Deer Hunter reversible vest, Sierra Nylon mountain parka, and Iron Clad melton wool New Era flap cap are clear standouts, successfully mixing southwestern textiles with fashion-forward sportswear.

The lookbook (seen after the click) features rappers Emilio Rojas (Brooklyn) and Danny Brown (Detroit) with skaters Nate Fantasia and Rodrigo Lima alongside the usual cast of friends and family. Hits stores this week.

After showing us a nice selection of Holiday 2009 goods earlier this week, New York-based 10.Deep offer a quick look into their upcoming Spring 2010 lineup at (capsule) show. One of the stand out styles was a patchwork button up that jumbles various plaid and oxford panels. Though this look may be a little over the top for some, we feel the piece was well executed. Comes in several different variations on the same theme. A simple black fireman clasped hoody was also on hand. Check it out after the leap. It’s a good look.

Finally we can give you a more detailed look at the new 10. Deep Fall 2009 Collection, entitled “Proud to be a Problem”. The New York brand once again proofs their standing and presents a fantastic new collection, that mixes American heritage, workwear, classic streetwear and more, all very smartly. The cut-and-sew pieces are very solid and once again the varsity jackets stand out. Also the fleece biker jacket looks really interesting and some great shirts are also featured. The lookbook is well produced and features next to season looks on some well known New Yorkers, quality product shots and images from their street campaign.

The much anticipated mixtape of southern spitter Donnis will be hitting the web tomorrow. For the occasion 10. Deep is hosting a release party tomorrow night in Brooklyn and they have also collaborated with Donnis on a t-shirt that will release at the event.

After presenting to you the lookbook of the new 10.Deep Fall 2008 collection a little while ago, we give you a look at the second part of the first delivery today.

10.Deep’s "Veni Vidi Vici" Collection continues to roll into stores with no sign of losing momentum.  Delivery 1.2 begins hitting retailers this week, bringing in key pieces like the Zeitgeist Baseball Jacket, the Big Time Small Time Flannel Shirt, the Duck Hunt Flannel M-65 Jacket, and multiple New Era Cap styles.

Delivery 2, titled "I Versus I," starts shipping soon after, and brings an aesthetic completely separate from the "Veni Vidi Vici" Collection.  This season, 10.Deep is intent on keeping your closets stocked for the brisk autumn months.
