We gave you a first look at the collaborative Kaws and Kiehl’s products earlier this week. Together they have also worked on a limited edition of Kiehl’s well known “Crème de Corps” redesigned by the artist, with bottle caps exclusively designed for colette. This product will be available by the end of the month, with 100% of the profits going to “Les Orphelins du Sida”. Cool product for a good cause. (Yeah, we know. But it really is a good cause.)

New York artist Kaws has teamed up with non-profit RxArt and with premium cosmetics brand Kiehl’s. The outcome is a special skin moisterizer that features the art of Kaws prominently on most parts of the bottle.

“With prices ranging from $26 -$70, you can feel good about indulging in one of the 3 available sizes. 100% of profits will benefit RxArt’s continuing mission of curating installations in hospital settings across the United States.”

After Paris, the STAGES exhibition, a joint effort by Nike Sportswear and Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong foundation, has opened its doors in New York this week. Once again artists including Tom Sachs, Jose Parla, Kenny Scharf, Shepard Fairey, Kaws, JR, Richard Prince, Andreas Gursky and other art heavy hitters, were represented with custom works in the exhibition.

The new November issue of Vogue France features an impressive photoshoot entitled “Graffiti-Couture”. Model Raquel Zimmerman is photographed in front of graffiti backgrounds in the latest couture. Vogue also commissioned Kaws to do some artwork for the pages. Similar to previous magazine appearances, the artist drew on top of the photos.

New product from the Original Fake Fall/Winter 2009 Collection has been released for October. The drop includes the Dia Quilt Puff Jacket in four colorways and a Halloween-ready Monster t-shirt featuring The Wolfman from Canadian children’s TV show The Hilarious House of Frightenstein. Now available for purchase at select retailers such as colette and Invincible.

For the latest issue of Complex Magazine, the publication teamed up with hip-hop duo Clipse and world renowned artist Kaws for their cover story. In an exclusive interview, the rappers speak on their clothing line Play Cloths, their upcoming album Till The Casket Drops and more. The issue will be released on October 6, 2009, but you can read the interview early at following link.

In a rather unexpected collaboration artist Kaws designed some special shopping bags for the Harbour City Mall in Hong Kong. The environmental shopping bags come in two colorways and will be available from next month at a special gift shop inside the mall. Via TK.

After giving you a first look at the upcoming collaborative vinyl toy between Undercover and Original Fake, we can show you some more images of the two colorways of the toy today. Jun Takahashi’s Undercover Bear and Kaws’ Companion come together in this one. They present the toy in a black and an off-white colorway, with the bear holding the smaller Companion. The toy will be released on August 29th at Undercover stores and at Original Fake Tokyo.

After an early leak a couple of days ago, the Original Fake 4 Feet Grey Dissected Companion has now been officially announced, which means that a release cannot be far away anymore. We expect a drop in early September.
