Unfortunately still in concept stage, we take a look at a new watch concept by automotive enthusiast Marko Petrovic. Inspired by the Lamborghini Avenger unusual timepiece follows the design language of Lamborghini’s ultramodern hypercar, the Aventador. Both the materials chosen and modern looks of the watch nicely translate the sports car into a wristwatch. If the watch will actually make it into production, we have to wait and see.

At the LA Auto Show, Lamborghini presented the new 2012 Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder. Packed with a V10, 550 hp rear engine, the new convertible comes with revised aerodynamics and other small upgrades in comparison to its standard model. The car goes from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and has an impressive top speed of 319 km/h, all that while driving with an open roof in the warm days of the year.

At the Frankfurt Auto Show, Lamborghini unveiled yet another supercar – the limited edition Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale. With only 150 units produced, this is supposedly the most extreme Gallardo to ever be produced. Powered by a V10 engine with 570 horsepower, the car goes from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Lamborghini went as far as creating a special ‘Rosso Mars’ red paint for the car, combining it with a matte black finish on the engine.

Introducing the Lamborghini Aventador supercar..

With the Geneva Auto Show in full effect, super car maker Lamborghini is presenting its new Aventador LP700-4. Next to a 691 horsepower V12 engine, the car sports a carbon fibre passenger cell, and comes with an overall edgy new look. The Lamborghini is one of the first true 21st century super cars in our opinion, at least from the design perspective. The rear lights, side-panels and especially the back turned out simply beautiful, reminding a little bit of the Diablo and Countach. Of course all of this does not come cheap – the Lamborghini Aventador is expected to go for around 370′000 USD.

Inspired by the mythic Lamborghini Murcielago, TAG Heuer has teamed up with the famous Italian super sports car manufacturer to create the limited-edition MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini phone. In tribute to the year Automobili Lamborghini was founded, 1963 pieces of this finely-tuned device will be sold worldwide.

Housed in black titanium carbide coated 316L stainless steel, the design of the MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini phone references the super sports car down to its famed signature on the battery cover – the same as on the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640’s V12 engine block. The back of the device is engraved with its limited edition number while the keyboard is customized with Automobili Lamborghini’s trademark Taurus bull on the steel central button.

The TAG Heuer MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini phone will be available in November at selected TAG Heuer and Lamborgini retailers.
