Editor’s Notes: adidas is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Superstar by blending the sneaker with another iconic silhouette, the Stan Smith. The result is the aptly named Superstan, which will be releasing very soon.
The Superstan features design elements from both the Superstar and Stan Smith. Here, we see the upper dressed in white leather, with the Stan Smith's perforated Three Stripes branding on the side. Hits of Fairway Green on the tongue and heel also reference the Stan Smith, while the Iconic shell toe and sole unit are taken from the Superstar.
adidas' all-new hybrid merging the classic Superstar and Stan Smith releases globally on February 1 and in Europe on February 22. Footlocker will be receiving the sneaker exclusively on February 28.
