Highsnobiety

Welcome to Face Value, Highsnobiety’s monthly guide to the best new beauty products and the brands behind them.

February may have been short, but it brought no shortage of notable beauty launches. Highsnobiety's favorite new products from the month screamed luxury, through and through: Fancy a gilded set of eyebrow grooming tools, or a fragrance limited to 3,000 editions?

Read on for the beauty buys worth adding to cart.

ISAMAYA Beauty - LIPS

Is that a lipstick in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me? Encased in giant, penis-shaped tubes, Isamaya Ffrench's new lip colors are a cheeky take on the age-old adage: sex sells. Like all of Ffrench's carefully designed makeup products, the lippies double as art objects. "[They] will look just as great on a shelf as your favorite candle, sculpture, travel keepsakes, and collectibles do," Ffrench told us in a recent interview.

KS&Co - The Essentials Grooming Kit

If the rise of bleached brows has taught us anything, it's the power of those fuzzy little strips on your face — the way you groom them can alter your entire look. Celebrity eyebrow stylist Kristie Streicher launched KS&Co, a line of brow pens, gels, and shaping tools, to bring her expertise to the masses. The Essentials Grooming Kit contains a pair of gold tweezers, curved-blade scissors, and a spoolie for everyday maintenance, whether you're going for a skinny, '90s brow or a bushy unibrow.

Guerlain - Cherry Blossom 2023

Each year, Guerlain pays homage to the Japanese tradition of "Hanami" by releasing a special edition of its famous Cherry Blossom fragrance. For 2023, the French brand — one of the oldest perfume houses in the world — worked with the famed embroiderers of Les Ateliers Vermont to create a sakura-embossed bottle outfitted with beaded branches and fabric petals. Limited to 3,000 editions, the craftsmanship of Guerlain and Les Atelier Vermont won't come cheap: $750, to be exact.

Richualist - The Mint

Founded by Dawn Meyers, Richualist is dedicated to enhancing natural and curly hair, rather than relaxing or straightening it. The brand's inaugural product, The Mint, is a styling and detangling wand outfitted with six attachments suited to a range of textures. While the wand's bristle plates brush through your locks, a removable "product pod" heats up and evenly dispenses your curl cream of choice.

Kilian Paris - Can't Stop Loving You

Kilian Paris, the brand behind of Rihanna's (rumored) signature scent, released its most romantic fragrance yet. Enter: Can't Stop Loving You, an ode to the North African orange blossom, a flower that symbolizes love and longevity. With notes of honey and vanilla with an underbelly of oak moss and labdanum cistus, the scent is as sweet — and sophisticated — as can be.
