Welcome to Face Value, Highsnobiety’s monthly guide to the best new beauty products and the brands behind them.

Ah, July. It was a hot month — and a fragrant one, considering the sheer volume of new perfume releases. Picking just five releases from last month's roster of new scents wasn't easy, but we managed to sniff out the best of the bunch.

From Stüssy and Comme des Garçons' beachy perfume to Malin + Goetz's new take on Cannabis, these are the five July beauty drops worth adding to cart.

Stüssy x Comme des Garçons - Laguna Beach Eau de Toilette

If you missed the initial release of Laguna Beach, Stüssy's first fragrance made in collaboration with Comme des Garçons, you're in luck. It's back, bottling the feeling of a mid-day dip in the ocean just in time for sweltering August temps.

PHLUR - Father Figure

The name of PLHUR's latest release is enough to pique anyone's interest. Take a whiff of the scent — a green, figgy concoction backed with powdery orris and warm vanilla — and you'll be hooked. Formulated by Frank Voelkl, the perfumer behind Santal 33, Father Figure might just be his next viral hit.

Malin + Goetz x BRAIN DEAD - Cannabis Perfume Oil

Introduced back in 2007, Malin + Goetz's Cannabis scented candle has since become a cult classic, inspiring a matching perfume oil, eau de parfum, and body wash. Teaming up with streetwear brand Brain Dead, the beauty brand whipped up something special for diehard fans of the fragrance: a limited-edition Cannabis perfume oil, bottled in a co-branded vial that's small enough to tote around for on-the-go application.

Loewe - Orange Blossom Candle

Loewe's new candle is less orange juice, more orange bouquet. Separating the citrus fruit from its fragrant blooms, Orange Blossom is a room-filling floral in a jaunty, tangerine jar to match.

Le Monde Gourmand - Le Beach

Le Beach smells — and looks — like the sun. Flecked with gold shimmer, the perfume oil is a warm hug of coconut, jasmine, and vanilla. Apply liberally, and don't forget the sunscreen.
