Last year Danny Brown released his fourth album proper Atrocity Exhibition. It received rave reviews, appearing in our own tallies of the best albums and tracks of 2016. Nearly the entirety of the record was produced by Brown's longtime collaborator Paul White, and it seems that the pair are far from sick of each other. They have already announced the album's follow-up in the form of an EP titled Accelerator.
The EP lists White as the main artist, though it appears that each of the four tracks will feature Brown's one-of-a-kind rap skills. And if your interests weren't piqued enough, it is described on White's Bandcamp page as "a fuzzed-out psych monster that defies conventions about what rap music should sound like in 2017." It is an ambitious statement for sure, but given the duo's previous output, it does not seem much of an exaggeration.
The Accelerator EP will be released next Friday, February 10. Pre-order it on White's Bandcamp page.
