Yesterday, March 9, marked 23 years since The Notorious B.I.G.'s death. To honor the anniversary, Diddy shared a priceless story and a rare photo of the late rapper.

This year Diddy marked the date with an incredible picture taken while Biggie was working on his Life After Death album anthem, “Hypnotize." The rare shot was accompanied by a behind-the-scenes anecdote about the rapper suffering major writer's block while writing the track.

Diddy revealed that this was the only time the young rapper had experienced such a block — you can see the defeat on Biggie's face. "This only happened to him once," Diddy explained in the caption. "He was talking about retiring. And I’m basically just telling him to stop talking crazy and that he was the greatest of all time. Then he went in and made hypnotize!"

He also shared another more recognizable shot of the late rapper, with the caption "The greatest of all time #WEMISSYOU." Check out both posts below.
