This year, father's day offered a rare opportunity (in 2020, at least) for optimism and celebration. Yesterday, celebs took the opportunity to offer some positivity by sharing their most adorable and heartfelt messages to their children, their father figures, and to the fathers who have passed away.

Will Smith shared a heartwarming story about becoming a dad, Kim Kardashian dropped yet another Louvre-worthy family photo, and Lil Baby woke up to an acrobat in his pool. Find the best celebrity Father’s Day messages below.

Drake

After keeping his son, Adonis secret, Drake is now leaning into his role as a proud, Insta-happy dad. This Father's Day he shared a rare picture of his 2-year old.

Drake also used his Instagram Story to give a shout out to some of the positive male role models in his life. He sent love to his "biggest inspiration," Jamie Foxx, and went on to praise LeBron James, Snoop Dogg, and Charles Oakley for showing him how to be a good father.

Drake also thanked some of his music industry mentors, including J Prince and Birdman before giving a heartfelt message to Lil Wayne. "@liltunechi You are my brother but you, raised me so Happy Father's Day I love u g forever."

During the Father's Day episode of his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk, Will Smith opened about "the real weight of parenting" and revisited rare videos of his early days of fatherhood.

Smith told Pinkett about bringing his first child home after he was born. “I brought him home, we put him in the bassinet, it was like stark terror," he recalled. “I’m totally responsible for this life. I couldn’t stop going and checking. I just cried so hard. It makes me teary right now."
