After the success of the first “thedrop@barneys,” a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that took place in New York City last October, the event heads west to Los Angeles on June 2 and 3. For its second installment, titled “thedropLA@barneys” and taking place at Barneys New York’s Beverly Hills flagship, the event will boast over 90 brands and over 20 exclusive capsule collections including pieces from Balmain, FILA, FEAR OF GOD, Prada, and Tupac by 424, to name a few.

The two-day event, a partnership between Highsnobiety and Barneys New York, promises to be much more than merch. On June 2, designers Jeremy Scott of Moschino, Chris Gibbs of Union Los Angeles, Rhuigi Villaseñor of Rhude, and many more, will make guest appearances, and the day will wrap up with a surprise musical performance in partnership with Live Nation that’s sure to be lit. On June 3, a variety of insiders will host panel discussions tackling LA’s creative scene, women in fashion, and the luxury market’s evolution.

“Los Angeles has a fashion culture all its own,” said Jeff Carvalho, Managing Director of Highsnobiety. “We’re super excited to partner with Barneys New York again to bring thedropLA@barneys to Angelenos, offering them a new shopping journey unlike the city has ever seen."

Can’t make it? We got you. The event will extend to barneys.com—including pieces only available online—and the panels will be live-streamed by Highsnobiety and Barneys New York.
