As we are now into 2020, we can look forward to the new year bringing new music from The xx. The band took to Instagram this week to announce their upcoming material, stating, "Looking forward to 2020! We’ve all been working on new music, can’t wait to share it with you!"

If new music equates to a new album, it would be The xx's first since 2017's I See You, the group's third studio album. The xx also premiered a mini documentary and went on an extensive tour in promotion of the LP.

More recently, the British band collaborated with Raf Simons on a collection of apparel and accessories celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album, xx. The capsule, which drew inspiration from the LP, consisted of T-shirts, patches, a cap, and a set of pins. It released on December 12, 2019.

Be sure to check back with us for more surrounding The xx's new material that is on the way for 2020.
