After gifting golfer Brooks Koepka a cleated variation of the Air Max 90 with an Off-White™ zip tie,  Virgil Abloh revealed that these accessories were key to his customization plan. In a recent tweet, the designer explained that Off-White™ x Nike came with all those extra laces and zip-ties precisely so sneakerheads could get creative.

According to Abloh, he included the extras so that people might make their own Off-White™ designs other on shoes.
