Sneakers
From the ground up

Kanye West officially unveiled the YEEZY Runner in New York back in February, and now we can peep a never-before-seen iteration.

The images, which include an on-feet look, come courtesy of West’s long-term friend Ibn Jasper. Taking cues from sneakers such as the Balenciaga Triple-S and Raf Simons x adidas Originals Ozweego, the chunky kicks eschews Boost technology in favor of an elevated, bumpy midsole. On the outsole, adidas’s elastic adiPRENE material is complemented by gum accents, while the upper is notable for its ’90s-indebted paneling.

According to Ibn Jasper, the shoes will be a part of the forthcoming YEEZY Season 6.
