After announcing the collaborative range by Bape and Comme des Garcons PLAY last week, we can finally give you a look at some first pieces of the collection. As it turns out these were not real.

UPDATE: We just got word from the Bape Marketing department that the t-shirts shown here are actually fake. Sorry for the confusion guys and congrats to who ever did it, they came out pretty good. Hopefully we can soon show you the real collaboration between the two brands. The official collection by the two brands will be revealed on March 8th, 2012, and seems to be exclusive to the new Dover Street Market Ginza. For now only the above mashed logo design is official.

A Bathing Ape introduces a new mid top sneaker for Spring/Summer 2012. Keeping it classic, the Chukka Mid comes with a classic 1st Camo canvas upper in two colorways. Further details include the boat shoe style lace wrap and the Bapesta logo placement on the mid-sole. The sneaker is now available from Bape stores around the globe.

Today Bape informs us about their next collaboration and this one comes as a surprise, we have to admit. They will be releasing a collaborative offering with the Comme des Garcons PLAY line. The above graphic might give a first hint at how things will look. Of course we will keep you posted on the collection, as first images of it become available.

Later this month, A Bathing Ape will be releasing a new series of 100% Bearbrick toys in collaboration with Medicom. The Bearbricks will come in three classic camouflage colorways of the Japanese brand. A drop is scheduled for January 28th, 2012.

The iconic Bape 1st camo pattern is now also arriving on shirts. The Japanese brand presents the 1st Camo Flannel Shirt for Spring 2012, featuring the green pattern all-over, only distracted by the contrasting white buttons. Look for these at Bape Stores now.

Now this is something nice from Bape. The Japanese brand releases their Boonie Hat not only featuring the 1st Camo pattern all-over, but also featuring a Gore-Tex layer. Perfect for the current weather, the hat comes in two colorways and should be available soon.

The Bape Footsoldier boot returns for Spring 2012. Releasing in two subtle beige and black suede colorways on a thick outer sole, the Bape logo has been embossed on the side-panels. A nice detail is the Bape camouflage tab on the heel. The boot is now in stock at Bape stores.

These days, with Bape not really taking a distinct direction in terms of style, we actually start preferring the classics again. Here we present the new Giant 1st Camo ABC Full Zip Hoodie. It comes with two trademark Bape camo patterns in two colorways and is now available from Bape stores.

There is more Gore-Tex heat coming from A Bathing Ape this season. Today we present the all new Gore-Tex Paclite Mountain Parka. It comes in a light purple and a black colorway, featuring numerous pockets on the outside, some smaller leather details, yet overall is a very clean and easy to wear daily technical jacket.

From its Spring 2012 Collection, A Bathing Ape has released a new Gore-Tex Outdoor Jacket. Featuring their classic camo pattern all-over, the jacket comes with a full Gore-Tex outer layer and is now available from Bape stores.
