After earlier this week receiving a peek, today we get a detailed look at Ronnie Fieg’s latest collaboration with ASICS. The two-part effort finds Fieg working on the GEL-Lyte III and GEL-Lyte 3.1., in celebration of ten years ago when he first collaborated with the brand, as well as in honor the fifth anniversary of KITH.
The “Super Green” GEL-Lyte III was originally released in limited colorways for charity, as his new version of the sneaker is the GEL-Lyte 3.1. The GEL-Lyte III has been handmade in Japan from high grade materials, while the 3.1. acts as one of three colorways to be released this year and then never produced again.
Only 700 pairs of the “Super Greens” have been produced, and they will be releasing on May 21 at KITH locations as well as online. Fieg also revealed that there will be chances to purchase the shoes before the official drop date. You’ll want to stay tuned in to the KITH website for further info.
