With New Balance's Grey Day in full swing throughout May, we can look forward to a month of generous grey New Balance drops. From the lineup, another collaboration between District Vision and New Balance is set to make a big stomp with a Grey Day super shoe.

As good as District Vision's trendy visor sunglasses and sleek running gear are, the LA-based label has also proven its prowess in the realm of footwear as well. Just a few months ago, we witnessed the magic of District Vision x New Balance, which resulted in a tasteful and robust trail shoe that was a hit among trekkers and general sneakerheads alike.

Now, the running-slash-wellness brand is back for 2024 Grey Day to drop off a running giant with New Balance.

District Vision combines mind with New Balance to take on the SuperComp Elite v4, a popular kid at the New Balance Running table praised for its fashionably stocky design and cushy support (thank you, FuelCell foam).

District Vision's New Balance SuperComp takes these runner-approved C's — comfort and chunk — and ultimately wraps them up in a super nice aluminum grey coating. The SuperComp Elite v4 sneaker, in turns, transforms into a serious Grey Day wonder from the distinct thick-soled setup to the fresh grey paint job.

As with the previous Fresh Foam shoes, the reimagined puffy "N" logo returns to the sneaker's knit sidewalls, which look to promise an airy snuggle for the foot. At the same time, District Vision's logo gets quietly stamped on the heel, a reminder of the label's presence on this nice, beefy runner.

District Vision and New Balance's SuperComp Elite v4 sneakers will be joined by collaborative clothes, all scheduled to drop on May 23 on New Balance's website

We've yet to get a taste of the District Vision x New Balance apparel options. But if the brand's stylish in-line wears are anything to go by, it's safe to say fans will be in good hands with District Vision's latest New Balance collaboration.
