Originally released in 1991, the New Balance 997 was the fourth model in the 990 series and was the first to merge the technology of shock-absorbing ENCAP and C-CAP. The brand has maintained the authenticity of the debut style by using the original materials and technology when suitable. The predominately navy pigskin and mesh upper includes a synthetic cuff, knit tongue backer, reflective “N” logo, soft synthetic lining and blown rubber outsole. The New Balance Made in USA 997 navy/grey will soon be available at Feature Sneaker Boutique for $200 USD.
