Upon recently opening its doors to the public, we were able to get an early look at Rick Owens‘ new furniture exhibition in Los Angeles.
Situated in the MOCA Pacific Design Center, Rick Owens: Furniture consists of recent furniture designs, a new selection of large-scale sculptures, and videos, all by Owens, in addition to an array of works by the late artist and musician Steven Parrino.
Much like his fashion collections over time, the 55-year-old designer pulls inspiration from art historical sources that span modernist design, brutalist architecture, monochrome painting, minimal art, and avant-garde dance, thus utilizing such aspects on his furniture creations.

Rick Owens: Furniture is now on display through April 2, 2017.
