Converse First String 1970s Jack Purcell “Boro”

Converse follows up their successful collaboration with Dr. Romanelli with another “Boro” sneaker. Once again, the American sneaker brand decided to work with boro – a collectible Japanese textile whose patchwork pattern causes each pair to be unique. Built using an indigo patchwork composition for the upper, the pattern is a tribute to the days when reworking and recycling material scraps was an economically imposed necessity, with exposed stitching finishes and mismatched fabric patterns further emphasizing the origins of the design technique. Pick up your pair now at SOTO.
