With all the news surrounding Kanye West’s move to adidas and the announcement of the first product from this new collaboration to come out September 2014, we actually forgot about the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” and thought the release was cancelled altogether.
However, it looks like the sneaker is still going to come out. Today, it is being reported that Foot Locker will actually release the Kanye West designed Nike sneaker at its House of Hoops locations on December 27. The rapper gave away 50 pairs of the shoe during the summer but a release still seemed far away. It seems Nike is taking a wider road with this release than with previous Yeezy releases.
The release was officially published on the Foot Locker release schedule but has since been taken down for reasons unknown. We’ll make sure to keep you posted as we hear more.
