After several teasers we can finally give you a detailed look at the Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin”. The running sneaker celebrates 20 years of Berlin youth culture.
The city of Berlin, the event and elements of the occasion are all reflected in the sneaker. The Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin” comes with a black/grey/purple upper, using premium leather, suede and mesh. Contrasting purple stitching is setting some nice accents on the upper, along with the stylized concrete Swoosh. “Berlin 89″ is stitched onto the heel, and is also communicated with the inner sole and the lace-locks. All in all a very well designed sneaker, celebrating this historic event.
The Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin” will be released at select Nike Quickstrike retailers on December 4th, coming in a limited edition of 510 pairs.

Yummy!! Thanks for the profile! I was looking for a new pair of “vintage-esque” Nike’s that weren’t so neon… These are perfect! Know where I can pick them up?

My predictions were right! The shoe looks great. Wish I had a reason to add purple to my style but I don’t.
