It looks like Kanye West chose London Fashion Week as the official jump off point for the Zen Grey colorway of his forthcoming Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers. Spotted this afternoon at Somerset House London during the Mark Fast show, Kanye was seen wearing his Nike samples alongside a Balmain denim jacket and an Acne sweater. Look for these shoes to start rolling out around March.

It looks like Barcelona retailer Trust Nobody (storeguide) received a full size run of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 early. Just a couple of weeks ago we announced a March 2012 release date, but the store says that they will be releasing the sneaker already on December 31st, 2011. We are not sure if something went wrong with a delivery or if this is simply not the real deal. We will keep you posted.

UPDATE: Turns out it is Fools Day in Spain today, December 28th in Spain is equivalent to April 1st in the rest of the world. Nice one! Unfortunately that means, that you all have to wait until March 2012.

The Nike Air Yeezy 2 has not been released yet, and currently seems to have a March 2012 release date, yet Kanye West tweeted out late last night that he is already working on the Air Yeezy 3. It seems like the collaboration between the recording artist and the Swoosh is continuing. We will of course keep you posted.

After numerous sightings of the upcoming Nike Air Yeezy 2 on Kanye West’s feet during the Watch The Throne tour, we now get a first more detailed look at the upcoming sneaker collaboration between Nike and Kanye West. With an estimated release date scheduled for early March 2012, you can expect the sneaker to come like last time it at least 2-3 colorways. With the following images you get a better understanding of the new design and choice of materials. If these are the final ones that will also release, we cannot confirm at this point.

According to the @AirMag Twitter account, the Nike Air Yeezy 2 is dropping in just over 100 days, which pegs us at March 23, 2012. If you recall, the original Air Yeezys released in March, April and May 2009 respectively, so this countdown seems legit. Start saving.

We are slowly getting closer to a release of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 by Kanye West. After having already seen the black/pink colorway, a new grey colorway has now turned up. It looks like accents are set in red on the lining and in acqua on the outer sole. We assume that overall there will be again three colorways, just like for the first Air Yeezy release, so one to go.

In the middle of the start of his Watch The Throne tour with Jay-Z, we are seeing Kanye West both on- and off-stage wearing the new Nike Air Yeezy 2, that everybody is waiting for. Finally we came across some new decent images of the black/pink colorway of the sneaker. While we are not sure a release is still coming this year, it should not be away that far anymore.

Yesterday the MTV Video Music Awards 2011 were held in Los Angeles. For the occasion MTV brought out lots of great acts. Among them was Kanye West, who was performing ‘Otis’ on stage with Jay-Z. Once again the artist presented his upcoming Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneaker on stage. It seems like we are slowly getting closer to a release, even though Nike could not confirm an official release date yet. The image above and some others, following after the jump, give you a better idea of how the follow up to the Air Yeezy will actually look like.

Sneaker Freaker has come across what they speculate is the first real photo of the Nike Air Yeezy 2. Sure it’s questionable, but it does look an awful lot like the ones Kanye West has been wearing around lately.
