Port Tanger is a luxury eyewear brand embodying the vibrant lifestyle of the Moroccan city of Tangier. With curved frames as its signature, the burgeoning label designs its glasses to embrace nearly every facial structure. As with each frame, the Mektoub is made predominantly by hand in Italy, using fine acetate derived from cotton and alcohol with minimal use of chemicals. The style gets its name from a philosophical Arabic saying, meaning “it is written,” and ultimately draws from the synchronicity between land and sea, of which Tangier is known for.
