Dr. Martens’ iconic 1461 is back in low-top form for AW21, offered here in its classic black colorway. The signature silhouette is crafted from Quilon leather — a reissue of the original Dr. Martens leather — which is known for being durable and boasting a smooth finish. Goodyear-welted, the upper and sole of the 1461 are sewn together for added durability, instead of being glued together like many other shoes. The pair is made in England in the brand’s original Wellingborough factory using OG construction techniques to create the three-eye silhouette.
