Everyone’s favorite creative pop icon, Pharrell Williams, continues his long-running collaboration with the German sportswear leader, with the pair’s new blissed-out summer ’16 “Pink Beach” footwear and apparel collection the latest in a long list of successful collabs.

adidas’s growing reputation for experimentation comes through here, with bold and exploratory designs paired with the musician’s signature artworks. Williams’s designs appear printed or embroidered lending a high-quality, handcrafted feel to the expansive collection which is set to drop in two parts.

May 5 sees the collection’s embroidered shirt and short combo drop, appointed in crisp olive green and adorned with Pharrell’s distinctive designs. Accompanying this is the collection’s “Love Frequency” blouson (a sport jacket tapered at the wrists and waist), available in black with the code 528HZ embroidered on the back after the famous frequency said to create healing vibrations for the mind, body and soul.

This sits alongside some rather unique low-profile sneaker silhouettes that look like adidas’s classic Stan Smith, but reinterpreted for the beach. The Elastic Slip On and Elastic Lace Up utilize molded nubuck heels supporting stretch patch-tape uppers, available in white with signature green heel tab or a tropical variegated-stripe option.

The second drop on May 12 expands the collection out to summer staples for guys, girls and the kids with bikinis, tanks, tees, culottes, shorts, jackets and leggings all due to appear. Oh, and an Artist Poncho crafted from water-resistant laminated mesh.

Check out the lush campaign imagery, shot by celebrated Dutch fashion photographer Viviane Sassen, whose signature style is heavily influenced by her upbringing in Kenya.

The adidas Originals = PHARRELL WILLIAMS “Pink Beach” collection drops at all adidas Originals and Billionaire Boys Club flagship stores, at select retailers and online.
