When the adidas AlphaBOUNCE first dropped earlier this summer, we were quick to note on its aesthetic similarity to the YEEZY Boost 350. This didn’t escape the attention of Brad Hall either, YouTube’s resident oddball sneaker reviewer and contender for most hilarious dead-panner around. For his latest review special, Hall gives the two sneakers the old compare and contrast treatment, revealing some surprising conclusions.
Taking the adidas AlphaBOUNCE in the “Iron/Metallic” colorway and the YEEZY Boost 350 in the “Turtledove” colorway, Hall analyzes the sneakers on a multitude of levels. Both have dot-oriented uppers, but the BOUNCE sports a mesh construction while the Boost has the classic Primeknit. Both have their respective soles of course, yet both also manage to have incredibly similar outsoles.
The real test, however, is whether or not each sneaker is capable of making Hall feel like Kanye West while he’s wearing them. The answer to that however, you’ll just have to watch and find out for yourself.
Stay tuned for more Brad Hall hilarity, and be sure to check out his standalone review of the YEEZY Boost 350.
In related news, adidas just dropped a PureBOOST in a lush red colorway.
