From the ground up

Since its debut 65 years ago, the adidas Samba has been widely regarded as one of the Three Stripes’ top classics thanks to its nature of easy wearability. Now, 65 years later, the Samba is getting remixed and reborn as the adidas Samba ADV, featuring a brand new skateboard-centric design.

Designed to meet the modern skateboarder’s needs of comfort, board control and grip, the adidas Samba ADV features a combination of suede and leather on its upper, while an internal mesh bootie allows for responsive fit. Rounding out the look is a gum outsole with grippy traction.

To celebrate the release,  adidas Skateboarding Pro team riders Rodrigo TX, Benny Fairfax, and Tyshawn Jones qualify the Samba ADV with an action skate edit that sees them separately in their home turf and eventually skating together in NYC’s streets, subways, and abandoned warehouses.

The adidas Samba ADV is set to release at adidas stockists and the official adidas Skateboarding website starting January 1 for a retail price of $75 USD.
