adidas has just released a report stating that the company’s Q2 earnings for 2017 are up 33 percent.

“We are pleased to report on another very successful quarter. Both sales and net income from continuing operations increased strongly. This is testament to the continued momentum our brands enjoy across our key regions and channels,” said adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted. “Based on the strong first half performance, we are raising our full-year guidance. We’ll grow both our top and our bottom line faster than originally anticipated.”

Additionally, so far during the first half of the year adidas has experienced a revenue increase of 18 percent on a currency-neutral basis.

Over the last three years the company has more than doubled its Stateside workforce in Portland, as the adidas headquarters has recently undergone — and is continuing to receive — an expansion (see the gallery above) to accommodate over 1,700 employees.

News arrives as Nike CEO Mark Parker has experienced a drop in pay of $33.7 million USD from 2015 to 2016.
