As mentioned before we visited this week the new Outerspace show in Barcelona. If there is one thing that nobody should miss at the show, than it is the Sneaker Exhibition put together by some of the most prominent collectors from Europe. Henrik “Artoo” Kürschner, Marco Colombo, Julia “Sneakerqueen” Schoirer, Lars “Kelle” Vetter, Chris “Langer” Sachse, as well as Eddie and David Fauks and Tim “Tony” Seligmann brought together the rarest of the rarest in sneaker history. Usually we would start naming some of the more impressive sneakers showcased, but there were so many that it would not do justice. The collectors presented sneakers going back to the 70’s up until present, mostly of course from Nike and adidas. The line-up of Jordan and pre-Jordan sneakers blew us away as well. One collector estimated the overall resell value of the collection at around 800′000 Euros, just to give you an idea of what was standing in these halls.

Here’s an exclusive first look at one of the adidas shoes’ being worked as part of the Spring 2010 Ransom by adidas Collection. The Valley Lo is outfitted in ripstop nylon outer and finished in a great shade of red (black will also be available). The collection will also include a variety of clothing and apparel that complements the Valley Lo as well as other models. We’ll be sure to highlight the full collection from Ransom and adidas when we get our hands on it.

After showing you the Nizza Hi Zip the other day, we give you a look today at the Nizza Lo Zip. It comes in white canvas and also features just like its high top counterpart, the three stripes in the form of multicolor zippers. The sneaker is now available from Flauge.

Another Nizza Hi from the adidas Fall 2009 Collection has started to arrive at retailers. The sneaker comes with a navy blue or red canvas upper, highlighted by white piping and stripes. The red model features a yellow tongue tag and foxing, while the blue is marked with grey. The sneaker is available now at Flauge.

The adida Superstar “80s” was manufactured in France as a faithful reproduction of the original RUN-DMC favorite. The attention to detail is immaculate with vintage a heel logo, side stitching, and a suede insole. This high quality Superstar comes in all-white; red, white and blue, or black on white and is now in stock at atmos-tokyo.

As part of the adidas Fall 2009 Collection comes the Nizza Hi Zip. The sneaker features a black canvas upper with a couple of brown accents on the logo tags and piping. The three stripes come in the form of zippers in different neon colors. The sneaker will be released in July at Atmos.

After recently showing you the Micropacer from the pack, we give you a look today at the ZX 500 of the adidas Originals Multicolor Stripes Pack. The classic running shoe features an all-over stripe design, hinting at the logo stripes of the brand. Furthermore it carries the 60th anniversary logo tag on the tongue. Look out for a release very soon!

With the release of the adidas Skateboarding Fall 2009 Busenitz Pro Model, the brand also gives us a behind-the-scenes look into the making of the shoe, together with pro skater Dennis Busenitz. Definitely worth checking out!

adidas has just launched  a new adidas Skateboarding website. The cleanly designed site is packed with a lot of great material, including a video project called “Diagonal” featuring their European skate team and some detailed information on the launch of the new Dennis Busenitz pro model. One of our favorite parts is the animated Gonz “Shmoo” character that floats around encouraging you to register.

The third and final drop of the 3Way Consortium project from adidas Originals sees the series heading East for a work around between some of the most respected sneaker retailers and influencers of the region.

With the choice of working on the 5 models together in whatever manner they chose Acu, Crooked Tongues (London based but with strong ties to Thailand), D-Mop and VA decided to pair up on two shoes each and all collaborate together on the fifth. The 5 retailers worked on the Samba, Forum Mid, Nizza, Stan Smith and the Superstar, all together covering the most prominent sneakers in the adidas Originals catalogue. The sneakers will go on sale at adidas Consortium retailers on July 18th.
