Editor’s Notes: 823 is the new label from Australian creatives Ta-ku and Ben Wright. The name is a reference to the early ’90s pre-cellphone technology of pagers, whereby 823 was code for "thinking of you". The sentiment for empathy and simpler times is at the core for 823's ethos which endeavours to see and celebrate the beauty of everyday life and the people within it. The brand also produces posters, throws, vinyls and photography zines.
