Acne Studios
1 / 7

Stockholm-based Acne Studios has made a name for itself with signature pastel colors and a playful take on classic silhouettes. In recent seasons, however, another motif has become a defining aspect of Acne Studios collections: two dots for eyes and a dash for a mouth. This simple face logo has become so synonymous with the label that it has its own collections now, and the most recent Acne Studios Face Collection might be the best yet.

From shorts and tailored trousers through to light outerwear and accessories, every piece of the Acne Studios Face Collection is, of course, adorned with the face logo. Aside from that, the label looks to beaten plaids and a handful of standout colors to highlight the largely understated offering.

The Face Collection retains the label's penchant for blown-up proportions but presents a good opportunity to integrate Acne Studios into your summer wardrobe. While much of the Swedish label's offering exists as highlight pieces, the Face Collection includes a host of staples from crewnecks and tees to sweatpants.

The real stars of the collection, though, are the overshirts. Whether it's a quilted teal smash or classic plaid numbers with bleached sections, the selection is a seasonal winner. It lands at the perfect time too. As the temperature picks up, the overshirt comes into its own, offering the perfect solution to a summer evening.
