Get ready for Europe's premier showcase for rising rap talent. Amsterdam's Appelsap Festival has unveiled the official campaign for the 2018 edition of the music event, now entering its 18th year. To celebrate the landmark occasion, they have displayed artists of their line-up in reimagined versions of some of the most iconic hip-hop imagery ever, ranging from Eminem to N.W.A to OutKast. Check out some shots in the gallery above (shot by Vitali Gelwich) and view the campaign video (directed by Rogier Smalhout) in full below.

Headliners of this year's Appelsap Festival include Famous Dex, Madlib, Smooky MarGielaa, Kojey Radical, and Wiley. Speaking on their historic 18th year, Appelsap says that "we face a generation who has grown up with our festival. In addition, we see an entire league of young kids, listening to hip-hop and embracing the culture, without necessarily knowing the references or its roots. It seemed like a natural match, to use our anniversary to visually connect the new generation of artists with some of our all-time heroes.”

Appelsap Festival takes place on Saturday, August 11 at Flevopark in Amsterdam. Head over to their website for tickets and more information.
