Today, ASICS unveils its first drop of the fall, a duo-model pack comprising new colorways of the GEL KAYANO 5 360 and the GEL-BND. Both silhouettes launched earlier this year – the former in April and the latter in August – and the new drop celebrates these modern designs by elevating them with a sophisticated seasonal color scheme.

Launched this spring, the GEL-KAYANO 5 360 is ASICS' first hybrid model that sees the much-loved upper of the GEL-KAYANO 5 stitched to the sole of the GEL-QUANTUM 360. The result is a sneaker that is at once progressive yet still evokes a sense of fond nostalgia.

Meanwhile, the GEL-BND is a modern iteration of the Japenese brand’s 1998 triathlon shoe the BONDI. The contemporary take on the shoe adds a molded EVA midsole into the mix, as well as a TPR heel counter for support and GEL technology in the heel to absorb shock.

For the new drop, ASICS renders the hybrid silhouette in sophisticated shades of off-white with pops of gold on the stripes, tongue, and GEL-cushioned midsole. A black lining and branding around the heel add depth to the design. Similarly, the GEL-BND receives a low-key color treatment, with a white and cream-tinted mesh base that contrasts the black suede overlay and pops of ruby red on the heel and under the eye stay.

The GEL KAYANO 5 360 and the GEL-BND retail at €170/$160 and €95/$90 respectively, and are available now at asics.com.
