Double Tap to Zoom

Launched outside of Japan for the first time last fall, ASICS’ luxurious Japanese series is now back for round two. Comprising a Tarther Japan and a Skysensor Japan, the two-model pack is revamped in striking ‘90s-inspired neons just in time for some serious summer flexing.

A performance icon in the brand’s portfolio, the Tarther Japan is designed to help you run, fast. The high-end runner boasts a lightweight upper, a Flytefoam midsole, and a DuoSole outsole for maximum cushioning and durability. This drop sees the performance kicks refreshed in hot pink and neon yellow with contrasting black stripes and laces.

Similarly, the Skysensor Japan is rooted in running technology and, thanks to its fashion-forward aesthetic, has been picked up by sneakerheads and fashion fans alike since its relaunch last year. Rendered here in aqua blue with hits of black and white, the upper is made up of glossy mesh and synthetic leather. The midsole features SPEVAFOAM providing cushioning and support.

As with the first drop, the vibrant pack pays tribute to the brand’s roots while honoring its long-standing tradition of footwear innovation. Each silhouette is designed, produced, and manufactured in Japan, and features the wording “Japan” on the heel.

The Skysensor Japan and Tarther Japan hit selected ASICS retailers and www.asics.com today for $160/€240 and $170/€230 respectively.
