From creating high-tech outerwear for the Navy, Fire department, and other public services in 1936 to practical and hardwearing lifestyle wear today, Boston-born brand Blauer has come a long way. With new creativity under the watchful eye of Italian design legend Enzo Fusco, the vintage military and sportswear enthusiast has made sure Blauer sticks to its functional roots whilst taking a more contemporary path in its design.

For Spring/Summer 22, Blauer staples such as the police-style leather jacket, field jacket, biker jacket, and parkas keep their consistency and are accompanied by a range of oversized shirts, t-shirts, sweats, and jeans. Across the collection, Blauer does what it does best and experiments with several materials and techniques from nylon in armure weave and garment-dyed versions, satins combined with neoprene, to the brand staple leather. These are accompanied by innovative materials and processes like Sorona padding, Repreve recycled fabric, Thermofix heat-bonded seams, and sophisticated garment dyeing.

Overall there is a distinct beach feel to the collection, bridging the gap between hot and sandy Venice Beach with their shorts, baseball caps, and jersey offerings, and a cold and rocky British coastline with their hooded outerwear, fisherman caps, and lightweight knitwear.
