This week Blumhouse shares the first trailer for its new horror picture, Ma, starring Oscar winner Octavia Spencer.

Spencer portrays Sue Ann, a lonely woman in a small Ohio town that befriends a group of teenagers after they ask her to buy them alcohol. Sue Ann does them one better, however, as she lets the kids party in her basement. She only has a few house rules, one of which is to never go upstairs.

Over time, Sue Ann's hospitality turns to obsession, as she cultivates an unhealthy relationship with the teenagers, and her basement transitions from party pad to horror house.

Diana Silvers, Juliette Lewis and Luke Evans star alongside Spencer in Ma, which is due in theaters May 31.
