Bohemian Rhapsody has overtaken celebrated titles like Straight Outta Compton, Walk the Line and 8 Mile to become the highest grossing biopic about a musician.

In addition to securing nominations for the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild awards, the film about Queen lead singer Freddy Mercury can now add another honor to its CV, after taking in over $175 million in North America and $433 million at the international box office, passing $600 million globally.
